As you are most certainly aware, the COVID-19 pandemic is causing numerous changes to how the City operates. These changes are occurring on a daily and in some cases hourly basis. As with most organizations, ASPTEA has canceled all non-essential meetings, the upcoming Las Vegas trip and April’s First Friday event. The City is implementing and contemplating changes to increase telecommuting, eliminate public meetings and deal with the complications of leave, pay, family care, etc.
ASPTEA is in frequent communication with City management as these changes are discussed. We are also bringing member concerns directly to the City as they are presented. There was a meeting today with City management to discuss the City’s response today. We will continue these meetings to keep everyone informed.
