I am a native of Phoenix; I have been married for 29 years and am a father of 4.  I have a Bachelors degree in Police Science and Law Enforcement Administration.  My position with the City is Administrative Manager for the Communications Bureau of the Police Department.

EXPERIENCE

Jason Stokes is the President of ASPTEA, representing approximately 3200 Professional and Supervisory employees of the City of Phoenix.  He has been married for 33 years, has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.  Mr. Stokes has worked as a supervisor and manager for the City of Phoenix for 26 years, all in the Police Department.  Mr. Stokes has a Bachelors degree in Law Enforcement Administration and holds certifications in arbitration and employee advocacy from the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution, ILR School, Cornell University.  He is also certified as a mediator through The Mediation Agency.  He is currently Vice-Chair of the North Gateway Village Planning Committee and serves as an elected Trustee to the City of Phoenix Employees Retirement System (COPERS) Board.
